Madhya Pradesh: According to news agency PTI, a Class 12 student allegedly shot dead the school principal in Madhya Pradesh's Chhatarpur district on Friday and escaped from the scene with his friend using a scooter belonging to the deceased.

Agam Jain, Superintendent of Police, reported that incident-principal 55-year-old: SK Saxena was shot in his head by the accused-in-their presence in near Dhamora Government Higher school toilets at around 130 pm. The principal died on the spot, police said.

Investigation has begun and forensic experts have been appointed to the crime spot for evidence collection.

The accused and his associate, according to the authorities, were both students at the same school. In addition, the district education officer-in-charge RP Prajapati noted that Saxena had served as the principal at Dhamora School for five years.

According to an NDTV report, the accused followed the principal as he was going to the toilet and shot him in the head. The sound that was heard sent employees into a panic and running toward the sound discovered the principal lying in a pool of blood.

The deceased's brother believes the slaying is an act of "well-planned conspiracy," the report states. “Some individuals at the school were pressuring him unnecessarily and harassing him to carry out wrongful acts. This murder appears to be part of a planned conspiracy,” said Rajendra Saxena.

Two of the suspects are the boy's brothers, and the third is their mother, while the fourth is a friend. They were identified as Shivam Raghav and his minor brother, the boys' mother, Kavita Raghav, and Shivam's friend, Harsh Choudhary.

Moradabad SP (city) Ranvijay Singh said that the accused confessed to killing vice principal Alam to avenge the death of Shivam's younger brother, who was a student in a school where Alam was the vice principal.

It is said to have happened that Alam had scolded the boy, after which he allegedly committed suicide on February 14.
