This guy was known and loved as the 'He-Man' of Bollywood for his rugged charm and pure acting talent. He got to 89, though didn't make it to tomorrow, he passed away at his place in Mumbai today, surrounded by his family.
As the sun went down, Dharmendra's house suddenly became a pilgrimage site for the best of the Bollywood stars. Loads of them, his colleagues and all his fans came to pay their respects to a guy who had such an amazing impact on the industry that even all the rivalries and age gaps don't matter anytime he's involved. Its clear that Dharmendra's amazing personality won over everyone.

Dharmendra was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital earlier this month after his health reportedly deteriorated. Sources had previously suggested that he was under close observation and, at one point, placed on ventilator support. His hospitalisation had drawn several visitors from the film industry, including Shah Rukh Khan, Aryan Khan, and Salman Khan, along with his sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, and daughter Esha.

He was last seen in 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' in 2024. In the film, he essayed the role of Shahid Kapoor's grandfather.
Before this film, in 2023, he surprised everyone with his stellar performance in Karan Johar's directorial 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' He effortlessly rekindled the romantic aura he was always known for.
