India vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2025 Live: Suryakumar Yadav’s Men Eye Second Win Against Salman Agha’s Pakistan

Pakistan captain Salman Agha flips the coin and decides to bat first! Minor of sorts decision, yet one that will enable them to begin by getting runs on the board. Will it pay off? No changes for India.

India vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2025 Live: Suryakumar Yadav’s Men Eye Second Win Against Salman Agha’s Pakistan

India vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2025 Live: Pakistan was the first to win the toss and chose to bowl against India in the Match 6 of Asia Cup 2025 at the Dubai International Stadium. Salman Ali Agha has remained with the same team that won over Oman and this implies that Haris Rauf is still bench-bound. Same with India, who remain the same as they were against the UAE. Arshdeep Singh is deprived once again.

When you are a lover of cricket, you would not find a more exciting game in September than the game scheduled on 14 September. The arch-teammates, India and Pakistan engage in an epic battle that comes at a charged backdrop. But regardless of the commotion around it, such is all about talent and performance at night. Here in this preview we deconstruct the game in several major ways.

T1 vs T2, Asia Cup 2025- Pitch Report

The Dubai International Cricket Stadium has a surface which is generally on the lower end with a lot in it that spinners will look forward to. There have been two games in Asia Cup 2025 up to this point; one of them was won by the target-setting team and the other was won by the chasing team.
Another battle awaits with spin in the middle overs perhaps bringing out an equalizer.

IND vs PAK, Asia Cup 2025: Playing XIs

India Playing XI: Abhishek Sharma, Shubman Gill, Suryakumar Yadav (c), Tilak Varma, Sanju Samson (wk), Shivam Dube, Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Varun Chakaravarthy, Jasprit Bumrah

Pakistan Playing XI:
Sahibzada Farhan, Saim Ayub, Mohammad Haris (wk), Fakhar Zaman, Salman Ali Agha (c), Hasan Nawaz, Faheem Ashraf, Mohammad Nawaz, Shaheen Afridi, Sufiyan Muqeem, Abrar Ahmed

IND vs PAK, Asia Cup 2025: Form Check

India
The campaign of Suryakumar Yadav and his men has taken a grand opening. India appeared to be relaxed at various departments to a confident opening victory over the United Arab Emirates. The UAE did not push the bowling resources of India to the limit during the death and thus there is one minor puzzle of selection. With a more powerful Pakistan batting line-up, the addition of Arshdeep Singh would add to the choices of India in terms of death overs.

Pakistan
Similar to India, Pakistan began with a statement, bulldozing over Oman and bringing the energy into the historic confrontation. Salman Ali Agha will be happy with the balance that will be represented in the opening, but one adjustment will make sense: the specialist quick Haris Rauf needs to be added to the XI to conduct a high-intensity battle like that.

IND vs PAK, Asia Cup 2025: Battles of key players

Abhishek Sharma vs Saim Ayub
This was the first ball that Abhishek exhibited power hitting. Salman Ali Agha has been relying on Saim Ayub as a powerplay in the recent past. Since Abhishek has been determined to make an early attack, Pakistan may repeat this action. Abhishek is poorer than average against off-spin in T20Is (average of less than 25), although his record in the IPL against the bowling type: strike rate of about 180 and average of about 47- makes it hard to read. At a slower Dubai track, however, early off-spin might also prove his challenge and weigh the powerplay.

Kuldeep Yadav and Varun Chakaravarthy versus the Middle Order of Pakistan:
The spin duo in India had been on point in the first game. Kuldeep stood on the point of being inexcusable, Chakaravarthy being equally suffocating. Suryakumar to squeeze over 7 in 15. The manner in which Salman Ali Agha, Mohammad Haris, Fakhar Zaman and Hasan Nawaz handle that phase may determine the limit of Pakistan.

Conclusion

The ground is prepared to have a blockbuster. The two teams are relaxed and prepared. Up to now, Dubai has indicated that the figure of 180 plus can be considered a winning figure, however, dew might change the equation, where run-making will be less difficult in the second half. As much as there is tension and talk on this rivalry and all the scrutiny, it is time that the cricketing prowess take center stage in deciding the night.

Asia Cup 2025 India vs Pakistan Highlights

- Salman Agha, the captain of Pakistan, tossed and chose to bat.

- Pakistan are the same team that defeated Oman.

- No Arshdeep Singh of India, or Haris Rauf of Pakistan.
