Two Dead, Over 500 Arrested as PSG’s Champions League Victory Sparks Nationwide Riots in France
In addition to the deadly clashes, the French police have arrested more than 500 people, across the country.

On Saturday, violence erupted in France's Paris after the making of history with Paris Saint-Germain's first Champions League title turned deadly. Reports say at least two, one a 17-year-old, were killed as a result of the clashes.
In addition, France24 reported police detained almost 500 people in the French capital after the clashes erupted. However, with total arrests in Paris now counted, French police reported the total arrests is now 559.
According to the ministry of interior, there are 559 arrests across France being reported but 491 in the French capital - Paris.

2 killed as clashes take over Paris
Violence erupted following PSG's first Champions League title celebrating victory over Manchester City. France24 reports a man on a scooter in Paris died when struck by a car just a few kilometres away from the Champs-Elysées.
Meanwhile, in the south-western town of Dax during a celebration of PSG victory, a 17-year-old boy was fatally stabbed. Prosecutors have told the 17-year-old's death suspect that is on the run.
After winning their first-ever Champions League title, the Paris Saint-Germain team were due to hold a victory parade on the Champs-Élysées on Sunday.

Unfortunately, overnight festivities became violent with clashes across Paris and the rest of France.
As per police, "troublemakers on the Champs-Elysees were looking to create incidents and repeatedly came into contact with police by throwing large fireworks and other objects."
There were many more injuries during the festivities. According to local news, after the victory, a car drove into fans celebrating PSG's win, which left four injured including two people in critical condition. Police ruled out foul play after the driver reported himself to the police.
