Gujarat Fire: 11 Dead in Rajkot Gaming Zone Blaze, Rescue Operations Ongoing

Gujarat Fire: A fire erupted at a dome where games were being held leading to 16 people being killed including many children.
The incident happened on Saturday evening at an amusement park in Gujarat Rajkot city where people were enjoying their summer vacation and got wrapped up in this massive fire.
The rescue operations have been going on at the TRP game zone where the fire started for more than four hours.

Rajkot Police Commissioner Raju Bhargava told ANI, “Fire broke out in the TRP gaming zone in the afternoon. The rescue operations are on. The fire is under control. We are trying to retrieve as many bodies as possible. Investigations will be carried out.”
Soon after the fire broke out at 4:30 pm ambulance, firefighters, and Rajkot police forced reached the incident spot.

As soon as they reached the spot they put off the fire and it was also reported that the building collapsed due to the immense fire.

After all the debris was cleared off, a total of 16 deaths have been recorded so far.
Chief IV Kher of the fire department said that they were having trouble because a temporary structure was breaking down. The building fell down because of the speed of the wind.

CM Bhupendra Patel.stated, “The fire tragedy in Rajkot is heart-wrenching. I express my heartfelt condolences to the persons who lost their lives in this incident and their families. I pray to God for speedy recovery of the injured.”
He further said that the state government will give ₹4 lakh to the families of the dead and ₹50,000 to the people who were hurt.
Reports from earlier in the day said that smoke could be seen up to 3 kilometers away.
