Simala Prasad: Simala Prasad, an IPS Officer from Madhya Pradesh who is also an actress, she is appear expected to appear in the film ‘The Narmada Story’ based on real-life incidents. She will work alongside Mukesh Tiwari, known for villain character roles.

Simala Prasad gained huge attention from people when they came to know about her, she also cleared the UPSC exam in 2010 and ranked at AIR 51.

Simala Prasad: Early Career

Simala Prasad was born in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, she became IPS after clearing the UPSC 2010, she cleared it on her first try. Simala Prasad first took the MPPSC exam and became a DSP then she continued her study and took the UPSC exam.

She loved to dance and act in school shows when she was small. During college, though, things took a more serious turn as she thought about singing and dancing more.

When she became an IPS Officer she wasn’t able to follow her passion but she didn’t give up hope and kept on attending cultural events

However, at one of the cultural events she was spotted by Zaigham Imam, an Indian actor which marked the start of her acting career.

She first debuted in the film Alif in 2016 then she again worked in Nakkash in 2019 which was also directed by Zaigham Imam, alongside the factor actor Kumud Mishra and Rajesh Sharma.

She completed her academic studies at St Joseph Co-Ed School and earned a Bachelor’s in Commerce, she also completed her further studies at Barkatullah University in Bhopal and got her master's degree in sociology.

About Simala Prasad's Parents

Simala Prasad's mother's name is Mehrunnisa Parvez, who is a famous Indian Writer. In 2005, she got the Padma Shri, which is the fourth highest civilian honor, for her work in Indian writing. According to Wikipedia, Mehrunnisa Parvez's notable works were Amma and Samara, both were published in 1967 and 1969.

Simala Prasad's father's name was Shri Bhagirath Prasad who was also an IPS Officer who was also an renowned officer of Madhya Pradesh.

However, she is expected to make her third appearance in her upcoming film ‘The Narmada Story’ in which she will be playing the lead role. According to the reports, the film is being shot in Madhya Pradesh.
