Delhi Teacher’s Shocking Obsession: Faked Cancer, Morphed Photos & Spread Death Rumours About Mentor
The 21-year old was arrested when she targeted another teacher that her mentor allegedly connected with, according to the police.
Delhi Teacher’s Shocking Obsession: Months had elapsed since a 21-year-old teacher of a school in Delhi resigned her job, yet barely had her infatuation with her principal in the same school, the woman she regarded as her mentor, diminished, the police said.
In this one-sided narrative, the emotion was not reciprocated, since to the principal, the woman was only one whom she had tutored. But the teacher did not give up.

She invented faked IDs to capture the attention of the principal and persuaded her students to push the rumour that she had contracted cancer and used the students IDs to share morphed images of her as an ill patient. Through them she went also to disseminate the rumour of her own death.
But nothing came off and last month she found out why.
A police officer said, “The 21-year-old learnt that her mentor had allegedly bonded with another teacher of the same school. She then targeted that teacher by creating fake Instagram accounts in the latter’s name and uploading morphed images to malign her.”
On September 6, the second teacher noticed her morphed photos spread online and went to the police and filed a complaint. “A complaint was received from a resident of Delhi’s Azad Market, who works as a teacher in a Delhi school. She alleged that someone had created fake Instagram accounts in her name, and was uploading her morphed pictures, and sending follow requests to her students and colleagues to damage her reputation,” DCP (North) Raja Banthia said.
Police searched the images, records and the email IDs attached and zeroed on the accused.
The police officer said the accused woman was then arrested at her home.
“The accused initially posed as a victim of cyber fraud, claiming that fake IDs were created in her name as well. However, during questioning, she revealed that she had created the fake accounts, edited pictures of herself and the complainant, and circulated fabricated videos — all to gain the principal’s attention and sympathy,” the officer said.
