97 Flights Cancelled, Over 200 Delayed at Delhi Airport Amid Dense Fog; Train Operations Also Hit
The flight operations at the Delhi and other airports disturbed many days before, because of the dense fog.
Low visibility conditions in the form of fog in the Delhi airport led to the cancellation of 97 flights and the delay of more than 200 flights on Sunday.
One of the officials indicated that the airport had cancelled 48 arrivals and 49 departures.
Based on current data on a flight tracking website Flightradar24.com, over 200 flights have been delayed and the mean delay per departure is approximately 23 minutes.
At noon, railways DIAL, which runs the airport at Delhi, announced that things were running smoothly there.

DIAL manages the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA), the largest airport in the country which is usually serving approximately 1,300 flights each day.
Thick fog has interfered with the flight operations of the last many days in Delhi and other airports.
