Allu Arjun’s Arrest: The arrest of Pushpa 2 star Allu Arjun has erupted a political wave, as the majority of the politicians condemned the actions taken by Telangana government of Revanth Reddy. BJP leader Bandi Sanjay Kumar said that the Congress government failed to control the crowd, leading to an eventual tragedy due to improper arrangements for such a big event. He also said that Allu Arjun should be treated with dignity because he is bringing international glory to Indian cinema. In the same way, BRS leader K.T. Rama Rao called the arrest as high-handed behavior and asked why Arjun was being treated like a criminal when he was not directly responsible for the incident.

"National Award-winning actor Allu Arjun, lifted straight from his bedroom without even being given time to change, is a disgraceful act of mismanagement and disrespect," the BJP leader said.
Tollywood superstar Allu Arjun, who won a National Award for Pushpa: The Rise, is now in a legal tangle because of a tragedy during the premiere of his latest film Pushpa 2: The Rule. On December 4, while thousands of fans rushed to the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad to catch a glimpse of the actor during the premiere, a stampede broke out, resulting in the death of a woman named Revathi and leaving her young son severely injured.
Allu Arjun was arrested by the Hyderabad Police regarding the incident and his arrest marks the fourth detainment in this case, in which the theatre owner and two staff members were already arrested on a complaint filed by the deceased woman's family. This case has generated an uproar among the public for the misery of losing lives as well as for the way Allu Arjun has been arrested.
Police arrived at Arjun's house in Jubilee Hills on Friday morning and wanted to interrogate him incidentally. Social media videos showed the actor donned in a Pushpa 2 sweatshirt and having coffee while on a call with his family members, including his wife Sneha Reddy, brother Allu Sirish, and father Allu Aravind. Before leaving, Arjun reportedly expressed his displeasure with the officers stepping into his private space and called it an overreach.

The actor, while still brimming with composure, made it very clear about the situation. It is said that he made a demand that he be allowed to change, an act that was failing by the authorities. Discontentment was expressed as he said: "I respect their duty; however, entering my bedroom is unwarranted."
This unfortunate incident somehow shadows all the huge success that Pushpa 2: The Rule has been enjoying, setting fresh records in the box office. Allu Arjun had earlier announced a financial amount of ₹25 lakh as help to the deceased woman's family and assured them of further assistance.
