Kills Relative for Abusing Daughter: A 35-year-old immigrant worker from Kuwait murdered his relative for allegedly sexually abusing his minor daughter, said a police official on Thursday.
Rajampet sub-divisional police officer N Sudhakar said Anjaneya Prasad arrived from Kuwait recently and beat his physically challenged relative P Anjaneyulu (59) to death with an iron rod for allegedly sexually abusing his daughter.
"Anjaneya Prasad came to India in the first week of December and killed Anjaneyulu in the intervening night of December 6 and 7 when the latter was sleeping outside his home," N Sudhakar told PTI, about the incident which occurred at Obulavaripalli in Annamayya district.

Prasad and his wife, Chandrakala, were working in Kuwait, while their young daughter stayed with Chandrakala’s sister Lakshmi and her husband Venkataramana. The accused, Gutta Anjaneyulu, was Venkataramana’s father.
During her stay, she was allegedly molested by Lakshmi's father-in-law while she was asleep. When she reported the incident to her aunt, she was instructed to remain silent.
Anjaneya mentioned that Lakshmi called them unexpectedly, requesting that they take their daughter home due to tensions at her place. After returning to Kuwait, the young girl shared her experience with her parents.

The situation began when Prasad’s wife learned of the alleged misconduct while the couple’s daughter was staying with relatives. Chandrakala then filed a complaint at the Obulavaripalli police station, but the family claims the police only issued a warning to Anjaneyulu.
After the murder, Sudhakar claimed that Prasad had returned to Kuwait and released a video message, admitting to the crime. He alleged that the police had not acted on his daughter's complaint, PTI reported.
Local police filed a murder case against Anjaneya Prasad who is currently being hunted by the authorities. Although it happened in India, return to Kuwait made the investigation difficult and complicated for the police. Now they are focused on finding him and punishing him for his criminal activity.
