On March 21, 2023, FitsAir, a low-cost airline in Sri Lanka, said, "We will start direct flights between Colombo and Dhaka in April 2024."

FitsAir thinks that the new route and low prices will help people from both countries do business with each other.

At first, there will only be two flights a week. In the summer, there might be more planes.

FitsAir has a lot of well-planned trips that go straight from Dhaka to Male, Chennai, and Dubai.

For the first flight on April 16, 2024, prices will begin at Rs74,600.
