Found Dead in Gurugram Apartment: Popular Instagram influencer and freelance radio jockey from Jammu and Kashmir, Simran Singh, was found dead in her apartment in Gurugram.

The radio jockey's body was found dead in her Gurugram apartment in Sector 47 where police were called by the late influencer’s friend who was staying with her.

The door of the house was locked from the inside, and no suicide note had been found, officials added. Simran's body was handed over to her family after the post-mortem.

The Gurugram Police has filed a suicide case, and a probe has been launched, officials said.

She was taken to a hospital, where doctors announced she was dead. The police said they did not find any suicide note, and her family has not filed any complaint. The family said Simran was upset for some time, due to which she may have died by suicide. They said she did not hold anyone responsible.

Her body has been handed over to her family after post-mortem was done on Thursday morning. No case has been registered concerning the matter, told news agency.

A report by PTI said that the woman allegedly died by hanging herself in her rented house. "Her body was found hanging in her room on Wednesday night," the police said, adding "no suicide note was found.

RJ Simran has amassed nearly 700,000 followers on Instagram, where her vibrant personality and humorous reels earned her the nickname "Jammu Ki Dhadkan" (Heartbeat of Jammu) among fans.

The 25-year-old was associated with a noted radio station before she left and started work as a freelance radio jockey.

Her last post, shared on December 13, was a slow-motion video of her laughing and twirling at the beach in a peach gown, captioned, “Just a girl with endless giggles and her gown, taking over the beach.”

She was a popular Instagram vlogger with over 6 lakh followers, and known for sharing life updates and travel vlogs.

Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) chief Farooq Abdullah and J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah expressed their heartfelt condolences over her tragic death, emphasizing that her “voice and charm” embodied the true spirit of Jammu and Kashmir.
