Ranbir Kapoor Launches Lifestyle Brand ‘Arks’ in Mumbai: On the 14th of February 2025, we're going to see Ranbir Kapoor unveil his own lifestyle store: ARKS, at 205 Waterfield Road, Bandra West, which happens to be in close proximity to Hakkasan. After a decade in the making, ARKS goes beyond being just a brand; it finds expression in every part of its definition-as individual style, passion towards sneakers, and dedication to high-end fashion basics.

This first step into the lifestyle & fashion industry would see Kapoor, with ARKS, offer just a few, but carefully selected, essentials, such as well-fitting trousers, classic white T-shirts, tailored shirts, and upscale footwear; all of which will embody the brand's finely articulated combination of sophistication and a fresh, easygoing look shaped largely by Kapoor's cinematic journey and the ever-evolving fashion landscape.

Speaking about his inspiration behind ARKS, Kapoor discussed comfort as his overall sense of style as well as his longtime connection with Mumbai:

“I’ve traveled to many cities across the world, but nothing quite has the same energy for me as Mumbai. The kind that inspires you to try, fail, and get back up again. You can’t help but keep going. Mumbai is a part of my being, my soul. It’s home. I’ve played cricket in every gully, kicked a football around every corner, and cycled through these streets."

Fans welcomed Kapoor in kind with his new business when he unveiled ARKS on his birthday last year. He shared an emotional promotional film where he reminisces about his very first memories of fashion while cycling through the bustling streets of Mumbai.

In the video, Kapoor recalls his love affair with sneakers since the time his first pair transformed into a priceless possession:

“I love sneakers. From the time I got my first pair, I will never forget that feeling. It was a black color sneaker with a zip. And I remember when I got them, I kept them in a box, and I didn’t wear them for months. I would just come home from school and just look at them. They were the most precious things I had."

"I have been on this journey with ARKS as I launched the very first sneaker they designed".

As Kapoor put it into words while introducing the original ARKS sneaker, evolution is time:

“For me, it didn’t just need to look stylish. It had to be the most comfortable. ARKS is a reflection of my journey and my personal style. When you look at the collection, it’s me in every detail."

In its debut show in Mumbai, ARKS will bring consumers a seamless blending of comfort, quality, and style. Ultimately, this great passion project of Kapoor has to change the way daily wear looks so that everyone can have access to fashionable yet comfortable basics.
