According to Sacnilk.com, Pushpa 2 The Rule has made ₹175.1 crore [Telugu: ₹95.1 crore; Hindi: ₹67 crore; Tamil: ₹7 crore; Kannada: ₹1 crore; Malayalam: ₹5 crore] nett on its first day. All of this on a weekday. It has beaten RRR by a huge margin. RRR made ₹133 crore on day 1.

Where will it rank?
The biggest opener in Indian cinema is RRR which made ₹223 crore on Day 1, then Baahubali ( ₹217 crore) and Kalki 2898 AD ( ₹175 crore). Several trade pundits are saying Pushpa 2 will cross ₹250 crore.
Directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media, the film has Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil reprising their roles as Pushpa Raj, Srivalli and Bhanwar Singh Shekawat. Allu Arjun is the lead of the film and he won a National Award for his performance in the first part.
The first part of Pushpa, directed by Sukumar, showcased power tussles set against the backdrop of red sandalwood smuggling.
