'Pushpa 2' opened to a massive response and recorded the biggest opening day for an Indian film both domestically and internationally. The momentum continued through the weekend and became the highest opening weekend for an Indian film.
The film’s India net for the first 3 days was estimated to be 387.95 crores. On Day 4, the film added 141.50 crores across all languages and the total domestic net is 529.45 crores.
Hindi version of Pushpa 2 led the pack, collecting 85 crores on Sunday. The film’s Hindi version had the highest occupancy on Sunday with 84.25% audience turnout.

Meanwhile, the Telugu version collected 44 crores, Tamil version 9.5 crores, Malayalam 1.9 crores and Kannada 1.1 crores.
Adding Sunday’s collections, the total collections for each dubbed version were even more. Hindi version collected 285.7 crores, Telugu version 198.55 crores.

'Pushpa 2: The Rule' has set new records globally too. The film grossed over 800 crores worldwide in the opening weekend and became the biggest opening for an Indian film. It also became the highest single day collection at the Hindi box office with 75 crores on Day 4.

As per the current trend, the film should get a good first Monday. The film will see a drop today but overall should touch 870 crores. Trade experts say the film will touch 1000 crores in the first week itself. If the film drops in the coming days, it will surely touch the mark by the second weekend.
In North America, the film opened with an estimated $10.50 million (87 crores) in the extended weekend including Wednesday’s previews. It’s the second biggest opening weekend of 2024 behind ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. Globally ‘Pushpa 2’ has beaten Prabhas’ film to become the biggest opening weekend for an Indian film this year with a 4 day overseas collection of $19+ million.
