Nita Ambani Stuns in Handloom Saree with Rare Bvlgari Bracelet at Mumbai Event
During the Bvlgari Serpenti Infinito event in Mumbai, Nita Ambani created a splash with a black and silver handloom saree in combination with a Bvlgari bracelet, a very rare one.
In an event where the majority of the attendees of the event at the Bvlgari Serpenti Infinito exhibition in Mumbai appeared largely in couture gowns, Nita Ambani decided to pay tribute to Indian culture with a silk saree that immediately drew attention. On the first of October, Reliance Foundation chairperson visited the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) dressed in a black-and-silver handloom pachrangi saree, which yet again served to demonstrate that traditional grace is eternal.

The six-yard stunner that was designed by Swadesh was made of chevron patterns with a Banarasi gold zari border. She has worn it with a contrasting rani pink silk blouse by Manish Malhotra, and has finished off the outfit with emerald earrings of her personal collection. To make the glamour even more, a rare Bvlgari Serpenti Rainforest bracelet in diamonds and emeralds followed the saree very well. Nita Ambani stood out among the crowd of Western shapes with the pallu flowing to the floor.

Tradition and modern glamour came in with Nita and Isha Ambani, her daughter, respectively, in an Ashi Studio dress with a low-cut v-neckline, corseted top and long train. The item that led to a discussion, however, was her jewellery — the Bvlgari Serpenti Divine Monsoon necklace in rose gold and tanzanites, rubies, tourmalines and diamonds. It was accompanied by an old yellow diamond ring she bought in New York over 25 years ago, continuing her established legacy of juxtaposing inherited jewels with a modern appearance.
The mother-daughter duo demonstrated the optimal combination of Indian craft and the world of luxury, making the Bvlgari gala at NMACC a real fashion event.
