Nargis Fakhri Breaks Silence: Nargis Fakhri is making headlines after her sister Aliya Fakhri has been accused of murdering her ex-boyfriend, Edward Jacobs. Well, the actress is yet to react. But meanwhile she has posted the first picture with Housefull 5 actors. The picture is going viral on social media.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Nargis shared a photo featuring Sonam Bajwa and Jacqueline Fernandez. She wrote, “We are coming for you" as the caption. The latest installment in the beloved comedy franchise stars Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Fardeen Khan, and an ensemble cast. A special treat awaits fans as the entire cast is reportedly gearing up to shoot a grand song celebrating 14 years of the Housefull series.

Directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Housefull 5 will be released on June 6, 2025.

Coming to Nargis’s sister, a source close to the actress revealed that she came to know about the incident through the news. Nargis and Aliya’s mother has denied the charges against Aliya. A source told India Today that Nargis Fakhri has not been in touch with her sister for 20 years now “She has not been in touch with her sister for over 20 years. The actor learned about the incident through the news, just like everyone else," the report stated.

Aliya Fakhri was arrested for the murder of her ex-boyfriend, Edward and his friend, Anastasia Star Ettienne. They died in a fire in Queens, New York. According to Daily News, authorities accused Aliya of setting a two storey garage on fire and the victims died of smoke inhalation and thermal injuries. She has been denied bail and charged with their murder.

Nargis and Aliya’s mother reacted to the turn of events. “I don’t think she would be killing someone. She was a person who was caring for everybody. She tried to help everybody," as reported by multiple news outlets.

Aliya Fakhri is in Rikers Island, New York City’s biggest jail. She has pleaded not guilty. If she is found guilty she can get life sentence.
