Mumbai Police Investigate Bomb Threat Message: Mumbai police on Saturday found two threats directed at one of their nation's leaders, Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The number was traced back to Ajmer, Rajasthan, so a police team was sent out to book the suspect.
According to news agency PTI, the WhatsApp message was sent through the traffic police helpline on Saturday morning and referred to two ISI agents assigned to blow up PM Modi.
Investigators suspect that the sender is probably mentally disturbed or intoxicated, although further investigation is still going on.

The FIR was lodged under the relevant sections of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The helpline number of the Mumbai traffic police has received numerous fake threat messages so far.
Within the past 10 days, Mumbai traffic police have registered two death threats against actor Salman Khan. The latest message sent on Friday read: “If Salman Khan wants to stay alive, he should go to a temple (Bishnoi community temple in Rajasthan) and apologise to the community or pay ₹5 crore. If he does not do the same, we will eliminate him. The Bishnoi gang is still active.”

Death threats were also previously hurled on Khan by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Bishnoi is now imprisoned in Sabarmati jail at Ahmedabad regarding attempted homicide and extortion; a suspected gang member shot in front of the actor's residence in Bandra back in April.
Earlier, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang had threatened death to Khan. "This does not appear to be too serious, but we cannot take any such threat lightly,” said a senior police officer. Lately, crime branch officers have been beefed up, along with cyber experts, in tracking the sender of the latest message. “We are also checking if the message was really linked to the Bishnoi gang or someone just sent it for fun,” added the officer.
