Richa Pandey Mishra Appreciates Swati Maliwal for Filing Her Complaint: BJP Mahila Morcha Head Richa Pandey Mishra appreciates the effort she took to file the complaint against her assault at Arvind Kejriwal's residence and says that her team, Mahila Morcha will support her.
Speaking with the ANI, she said, “I thank Swati Maliwal that she filed a complaint and broke her silence. It must have taken her a lot of effort due to the kind of trauma she must be going through.”
She further added, “My team & I came to meet her and support her...We are rising above politics and seeing all this. We know that she has been our political rival and belongs to a different set of ideologies but here it was about women's equality...We want Arvind Kejriwal's bail to be revoked and the accused Bibhav Kumar should be sent to jail..."
Earlier, in a letter, Richa Pandey Mishra expressed her concerns and requested to address to the police and file her complaint.
In the letter, she said, “The legal process is necessary to stop recurrence of such an incident.'
The letter further added, “We laud your resolve and bravery and hope you will soon recover from this incident to discharge your responsibility to strengthen the struggle for the rights of the women in the country. We believe you will maintain your self resolve and become a voice of the women in the country. This is not just a personal matter but related to the honour of country's women.”

Richa Pandey Mishra was a former AAP leader, she left the AAP party and became a member of the BJP party in Aug 2019.
