LPG Cylinder Prices Slashed By Rs 69.50

LPG Cylinder Prices Slashed By Rs 69.50: After the previous price drop of Rs 19 in the previous month, the oil marketing companies yet have announced another price drop of the LPG gas cylinders by Rs 69.50.

The price drops have led the price of LPG Gas cylinders in metro cities such as Delhi to be reduced by 19 kg of Rs 1,676.

This price cut comes after the previous May month drop when the rate for 19 kg commercial LPG tanks went down by Rs 19.

News 18 reported that in April the price of 19 kg LPG Gas cylinders and 5 kg FTL (Free Trade LPG) was sliced by Rs 30.50 and Rs 7.50.

After the reduction of Rs 69.50 in the price of LPG Gas cylinders, the prices in Mumbai are Rs 1,629, in Chennai price of LPG Gas is Rs 1,841.50 and in Kolkata, LPG Gas is priced at 1,789.50.

The government also encourages people to use LPG cylinders for cooking at home through programs like the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, which provides families with necessary items if eligible.
