India vs Pakistan U19 Women’s T20 Asia Cup Highlights: Full of the new generation of Asian cricket at Bayuemas Oval Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, where the ACC Women U-19 Asia Cup kicks off hot on the heels of the men’s own U-19 tournament which concluded just a week back.
Tournament begins with the always high-intensity - India-Pakistan match, as the two arch-rivals step out on the very first day of the tournament to see who can take a big win in establishing their campaign out or put themselves in a solid position heading into the rest of the tournament.

India, Pakistan, and Nepal make up group A, with the top 2 at the end of the round-robin group stage qualifying through to the super four stage; while this is not strictly a must-win match, a defeat would place either team in an uncomfortable position as they move on through the tournament.
It is the first edition of the U-19 Asia Cup for women's cricket and the same is happening in the emerging country of Malaysia. Asian cricket is attempting to develop newly less traditional cricketing nations within its fold. Both the teams are likely to consider themselves among the favorites for this first-ever title and would want to put forth a statement performance in line with that.

India will be led by Karnataka's Niki Prasad, narrowly missing a bid to make the cut to India winning squad for the inaugural U-19 T20 World Cup held in 2023 and captained by Shafali Verma. Prasad leads a team full of nominations made under the watchful eyes of WPL franchise owners ahead of the auction of this very tournament also scheduled for Sunday.
The players would know that there strong performance against Pakistan would be their last bid to make a case for being included in the roster for the WPL by knocking a bitter rival down in an important match. Meanwhile, Zoofishan Ayyaz would be captaining Pakistan.
