Collectively, these new stretches will help cut down the traveling time between Noida and IGI Airport to only 20 minutes as has been reported by India Today. These will ease the trip of commuters of western Delhi and NCR suburbs as well as reduce traffic over the busy Ring Road in the city.
After the projects are complete, the projects will also assist in alleviating congestion on inner roads and decrease Berlin pressure on NH-48, NH-44, ring roads and the Barapullah elevated corridor. It is projected that UER-II will cost 3,300 crore in terms of construction cost.
Modi will lay some foundation stone of four of the five packages of UER-II along with phases three and four of the Dwarka expressway at around 12.30pm on Sunday, news agency ANI reported. This ceremony will be ventilated in Rohini and the latest PM is supposed to visit the two projects.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate packages three and four of Dwarka Expressway and four packages of Urban Extension Road-II connecting Mahipalpur near IGI airport with Alipur in North Delhi, linking it with NH-44.
