DDA Launches Karmayogi Awaas Yojana for Govt Employees, Offers 25% Discount on Narela Flats

Karmayogi Awaas Yojana: The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has announced the launch of the Karmayogi Awaas Yojana 2025 - a new deal that gives serving and retired central and state government staff, as well as workers from public sector units, banks, councils and universities a chance to get their hands on some sweet new homes.

Flats on Offer and Location

Under this pretty good scheme, over a thousand newly built flats in Narela are up for grabs - specifically in Pocket-9, Sectors A1 to A4. 1,168 flats to be exact. These are being offered on a first-come, first-served basis and come in three sizes - 1 BHK, 2 BHK and 3 BHK units.

A major highlight of the scheme is a flat 25% discount on all categories, making the prices much lower than earlier disposal rates.

Connectivity and Infrastructure

The flats are sitting in a planned residential area that's getting better connected all the time - it's located near Urban Extension Road-II and GT Karnal Road - and it's right on one of the proposed metro corridors. So in theory, it should make getting into the rest of Delhi a lot easier.

Important Dates and Booking Details

Scheme brochure & registrations open: December 19, 2025

Booking starts: January 14, 2026

Scheme closes: March 31, 2026

Registration and booking will be done through DDA’s Awaas Portal.

Registration Fee and Booking Amount

Registration fee: ₹2,500

Booking amount:

1 BHK: ₹50,000

2 BHK: ₹4 lakh

3 BHK: ₹10 lakh

Eligibility and Relaxed Property Norms

To be eligible to apply, you have to be an Indian citizen over 18, and either be working for, or be a retired member of, the government. DDA has also relaxed the usual rules about owning property in Delhi - so you can buy up in the capital, or anywhere else in the country - no problem.

The DDA Karmayogi Awaas Yojana 2025 offers a rare opportunity for government employees to buy newly built homes in Delhi at a 25% discounted price. With flexible eligibility norms, improving connectivity and structured maintenance, the scheme is aimed at making home ownership more accessible and affordable.
