Chehre Actor Krystle D’Souza On Rhea Chakraborty: 'I Hope I Could Stand Up For Her A Little More'
Krystle D’Souza has come in support of her Chehre co-star Rhea Chakraborty. Last year, Rhea received a lot of hate and threats post Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise.

Krystle D'Souza is all excited about her Bollywood film Chehre. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi and Rhea Chakraborty. After everything that happened in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, Rhea has faced a lot of hate from people and various media channels. After director Rumi Jafry, Krystle has now spoken up about the Jalebi actress.
Krystle D'Souza said that her heart goes out to Rhea Chakraborty and how everyone shamed her last year. The actor also applauded Rhea for being brave and standing up for herself and her family members.
Krystle told Koimoi, "My heart goes out to Rhea (Chakraborty) to be very honest. Anybody in her place, I don’t know how they would go through what she has gone through. She is still staying strong. I don’t know if anyone who could have even lasted this whole situation that was created could have ended a family. It’s not easy what she and her family were put up with. Hats off to her, hats off to all the women out there that fight for themselves, stand up for themselves."
"I hope I could stand up for her a little more, but it did not happen because you know everything happened so suddenly. More than anything this pandemic hit all of us personally that were going through so much in our own lives that standing up for another person was becoming difficult at that point...I don’t know how that girl did it, but hats off to her," added Krystle D'Souza.
Meanwhile, Rhea Chakraborty often gets papped in Mumbai. The actor who initially refused to give pics now smiles at the cameras. Recently, Rhea also shared a cute Rakshabandhan post for her brother Showik Chakraborty on her Instagram page.
Chehre is all set to release in theatres on August 27, 2021.
