Ranbir Kapoor Flaunts ₹35.88 Lakh Limited-Edition Jacob & Co. Watch at Ramayana Event in Hyderabad

The cast and crew of Ramayana met in Hyderabad and held a star-studded pre-release event ahead of its grand theatrical release this Diwali. Ranbir Kapoor, who plays Lord Ram, has been joined by co-stars Yash, Sai Pallavi, Rakul Preet Singh, Ravie Dubey, producer Namit Malhotra and director Nitesh Tiwari.

Ranbir Kapoor wore a navy-blue outfit with a bandhgala jacket, while his white shirt complemented the look with a gold brooch in the shape of an eagle that had gemstones embedded in it. But it wasn't the outfit that had fans in the throes of swooning, it was the watch on his wrist. The actor was seen wearing an unusually limited and rare royal blue timepiece from the house of Jacob & Co. – the Epic X Sher-e-Punjab Edition.

The Jacob & Co. Epic X Sher-e-Punjab Edition is a rare honour to Sikh heritage and Punjabi pride, with only 50 pieces in existence. According to Jacob & Co., the watch represents the indomitable spirit of the Sikh community and the legacy of Punjab.

Each element is symbolic of something; the “Ek Onkar” denotes Oneness of the Divine, the roaring lion stands for strength, dignity and fearless leadership, and the Khanda signifies spiritual sovereignty, balance of power and service. The words that are cut into the inner bezel, “Sat Sri Akal” honour the truth and grace.

The watch has a 44mm thick 12.3 mm sandblasted titanium case, as per the Instagram page of The Indian Horology. Its movement is Swiss-made, manual-winding, and is based on a skeleton of 21 jewels and works at 28,800 vibrations per hour. The watch's case is also crafted from a sapphire crystal back, showcasing its mechanical quality.

The Jacob & Co. Epic X Sher-e-Punjab Edition has a 48 hour power reserve and water resistance up to 100 metres. The sandblasted case is enhanced by luminous hands in the shape of a baton, which are guaranteed to be visible in low-light situations, and a vibrant blue rubber strap, with honeycomb pattern, secured by a titanium pin buckle.

The Jacob & Co. Epic X Sher-e-Punjab Edition has a price of ₹35,88,000 in India and is available at Ethos Watches only. This timepiece is a rare collector's piece, combining luxury watchmaking with cultural heritage.

The message of bravery, fearless leadership and spiritual faith that the watch carries seemed to be a perfect accessory for the actor Ranbir Kapoor who will represent Lord Ram in Ramayana who also represents the same ideals of courage, righteousness and devotion.
