Bank Holidays 2025: Will Banks Be Open on Saturday, January 4, 2025?
Banks remain closed on the second and fourth Saturday of any month in addition to Sunday bank holidays.
Bank Holidays 2025: The first, third, and fifth Saturdays (if any) are generally the days when banks function, and all second and fourth Saturdays and Sundays will be holidays according to the direction of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

Banks will remain open and function as usual on January 4, 2025, which happens to be a first Saturday.

Which service will be provided by banks on that day?
All branches will be unfortunately closed on those dates, but regarding their digital or net banking services on holidays, customers can still continue to use them throughout the year unless the bank sites warren interruption (usually for maintenance work).
Otherwise, all bank websites, banking apps, UPI, and ATM services will be active throughout the year. Even you can initiate a fixed deposit or a recurring deposit on such days digitally.
