Allu Arjun Granted Bail in Pushpa 2 Stampede Case

Allu Arjun Granted Bail in Pushpa 2 Stampede Case: Allu Arjun, actor in the upcoming 'Pushpa 2' movie, has been granted bail by Hyderabad's Nampally court for a case linked with the Sandhya Theatre stampede on Friday.

The incident occurred on December 4, when Allu Arjun came to Sandhya Theatre to attend the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule. A massive crowd collected at the scene, and chaos broke out when he waved to fans from the sunroof of his car. This led to the great misfortune where a woman named Revathi died, and her child was injured.
Allu Arjun had been arrested after the incident, but on giving a 50,000 bond, he was released on bail.
Sandhya Theatre stampede case
A woman aged 35 died in a stampede at the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad on December 4, where 'Pushpa 2', starring Allu Arjun himself, was running. The deceased's eight-year-old son was admitted to the hospital.
A case has been registered against Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management under various sections of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) in Chikkadpally police station based on the complaint by the deceased woman's family. This was done as a result of the incident.
Allu Arjun was arrested by the city police in connection with the death of the woman on December 13.

The Tealangana High Court granted him four weeks of interim bail on the same day and he was released from jail in Hyderabad on December 14.
As per the proceedings, the complainant has brought to the notice of the commission the death of a woman allegedly "due to lathi charge" by police of Chikkadpally during the visit to Allu Arjun for the promotional show of 'Pushpa 2'. The stampede that happened there resulted in "serious injuries" to the woman and her two children, the complainant alleged.
"He has further alleged that lathi charge resorted to by police officials and lack of necessary arrangements, when film star Allu Arjun entered the theatre, resulted in the death" of the woman and injuries to her children, it said.
