Anil Kapoor is a fitness lover. That is no secret. The actor has been in the Indian movies decades ago, and he seems to be getting younger and trimmer every single year. With the actor commemorating his 69th birthday on the 24th of December 2025, here is what Anil does to keep himself healthy and appearance-wise fit.

When the daughter of the actor, Sonam Kapoor, unveiled the book Own Your Body: A Doctors Life-Saving Tips by Dr Shiv K Sarin in 2024 in New Delhi, the actor, Anil Kapoor, once more confessed that it was his mother, Sunita Kapoor, to whom he gives credit to in his overall fitness.

“My mother, who has been very, very healthy from the very beginning… my dad would love to indulge sometimes, but my mother kind of controls him like a very good Indian wife,” she revealed.
To keep fit, the actor spends between two to three hours in the gym exercising. Besides, he does not confine to weight training alone to remain at the top of his game; rather he applies a combination of cycling, jogging and cardio into his routine.

‘Food is not for taste, but…’
In an Instagram video posted on July 2022, the actor admitted that he thinks people should eat better than work out. “Food is not for taste, but it's for you to build your strength and stamina. You consume as much as you need for your body as well as for your mental and physical strength,” he revealed.
