Pushpa 2 Premiere Tragedy: The Sandhya Theatre premiere of Pushpa 2 turned tragic last night as a huge crowd gathered to see Allu Arjun. The situation turned chaotic when a stampede broke out outside the theatre and a 39 year old woman died and her 7 year old son is critical.
Revathi (39) from Dilsukhnagar along with her husband Bhaskar and two children Sri Tej (9) and Sanvika (7) went to Sandhya 70mm theatre at RTC Cross Roads to watch the premiere show of Pushpa 2.
As the situation turned ugly, bystanders and police rushed to Revathi and her son. They did CPR and took them to a nearby hospital. The boy was shifted to a super speciality hospital where he is critical. Revathi didn’t survive and was declared dead at the hospital. Her body was sent to Gandhi Hospital for post mortem.

Chaos broke out near the theatre around 10:30 pm on Wednesday when Allu Arjun arrived. The situation turned into a stampede like situation as police struggled to control the huge crowd.
Allu Arjun left the venue with heavy security and police. He popped out of the sunroof and asked fans to move aside for the vehicles.
Eyewitnesses said that the situation became uncontrollable when news spread that Allu Arjun had arrived at the theatre. Fans surged towards the actor, creating a dangerous scene as they tried to get closer to him.

Despite the presence of police officers at the location, they were unable to control the crowd in time. The police had to use a mild lathi charge to disperse the crowd, but the disorder resulted in Revathi and her son being caught in the stampede.
After the incident, the authorities took immediate action. They cordoned off the area, closed the theatre gates, and called in additional police reinforcements to manage the growing crowd. What was supposed to be a joyful and celebratory evening for the movie's premiere turned into a tragic event.
