Chhattisgarh Tragedy: Driver Spitting Gutka at 100 kmph Causes Vehicle Overturn, One Dead

Chhattisgarh Tragedy: A 31-year-old businessman lost his life and two others were severely injured when a speeding car flipped and crashed on the Bilaspur-Raipur highway in Chhattisgarh.
The latest incident happened after the driver of the car suddenly opened the vehicle's door to spit gutka at more than 100kmph. The dead man is Jackie Gehi, a cloth merchant from Chakarbhatha, about 100km from Raipur.

According to the police explanation, Gehi was at a late-night party on Sunday and phoned his friend Akash Chandani after 1:30 AM for a ride home. Akash arrived with another friend, Pankaj Chhabra, by car.
Akash was driving with Pankaj in the passenger seat and Gehi in the back seat. As they were travelling at high speed on the highway, Akash reportedly opened the driver's side door to spit gutka, lost control of the vehicle, and drifted into the divider.
The car flipped several times, ejected all three people from the vehicle.

Gehi was thrown into a metal structure on the roadside and suffered critical injuries to his chest, head, and shoulders. He died at the scene. Akash and Pankaj were also ejected from the vehicle and sustained critical injuries.
The speeding car went on to hit a parked commercial vehicle and another vehicle, resulting in injuries to the driver of the latter vehicle. This person was sitting in the car and had no time to react.
Although completing the entire incident, the vehicle flips, and the violent ejection of a passenger was captured on CCTV footage. Emergency services had arrived shortly after passers-by alerted the authorities.
