When Priyanka Chopra Got Cheeky After Being Asked What She Liked In Nick Jonas First

One of her old interviews has gone viral, and Priyanka Chopra could not say how she could not talk enough about her direct answer on what was the first thing she loved about her current husband, Nick Jonas. The clip, which is part of the advertising of her 2019 movie The Sky Is Pink, includes Priyanka and the other actor of the film, Farhan Akhtar, and the two actors are seen playing around with each other in a video that is winning hearts once again.

Priyanka reveals what did she like in Nick

In the clip, Farhan is seen asking Priyanka, “What was the first thing you noticed about Nick?” Priyanka gives a mischievous smile, glances at him, and quips, “His body!” before bursting into laughter. She quickly adds, “God, I sound so vain!” prompting Farhan begins singing one of the great hits of Jonas Brothers, Sucker for You, and the audience is in the agony of laughter.

Priyanka then proceeded to tell how she got involved with Nick Jonas. “He first slid into my DMs,” she recalled. “He was like, ‘Oh, you’re really beautiful,’ and whatever. So I thought, alright, I need to know who this guy is.” Laughing, she added, “So I went and Googled him, and I saw this music video called Close and yeah, I was like, alright, this needs to happen.”

To non-expert listeners, Close is the 2016 song of Nick Jonas with Tove Lo, which has an intimate and emotional concept and is highly charged with chemistry between two artists. It is not surprising that the hot images grabbed the attention of Priyanka and as it turns out now the audience, this was not the start of a real-life fairytale.

Priyanka was also marketing The Sky Is Pink, an emotional drama, when the interview took place and directed by Shonali Bose. It was the first production featuring Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Suresh Saraf, and described the true life story of Aisha Chaudhary, a motivational speaker and her parents. The film was the first one since several years of absence in Hollywood that Priyanka made a comeback in Bollywood.

Priyanka and Nick's love story

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’s love story began in 2016, when Nick famously messaged her on Twitter saying, “I’m hearing from a few mutual friends that we should meet.” The two also met physically at the Vanity Fair Oscars After-Party in 2017, when Nick apparently dropped to one knee as soon as he spotted her and stated, You are real. What did you mean by my whole life?

Their lightning romance went flying shortly thereafter and in July 2018 Nick proposed marriage to Priyanka in Crete, Greece, using a gorgeous Tiffany engagement ring. The couple got married later that year in a big multi-day ceremony at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur with the fusion of both Christian and Hindu marriage rituals.
