Virat Kohli To Announce ODI Retirement Soon? Viral Picture From England Leaves Fans Worried
There is a photograph that has been making rounds on social media and the white beard is the subject of interest around Kohli.

On June 29, 2024, Virat Kohli retired in T20Is having led India to a 7-run victory over South Africa in the final of the ICC Men s T20 World Cup. Right-handed batter then walked away with Test cricket on May 12, 2025. After stepping away in the Test and T20Is formats, Kohli has stated he will remain a part of the Indian team in ODIs but his recent photo in England where he lives with his wife Anushka Sharma and two children- Vamika and Akaay has left the fans concerned.

One of the photographs that are circulating all over the internet shows Kohli in the process of taking a photo, and what attracted the people attention was the grey beard that Virat had.

It was big shock to fans to see how different the former India captain was looking.
Last month, at an event in England, Kohli stated the reason as to why he retired in Test cricket and said, “I just coloured my beard two days ago. You know it’s time when you are colouring your beard every four days."
And the new appearance in grey beard has already made the fans anxious fearing that Kohli will go away in ODIs too.

Indian men cricket team will miss any international playing time in August of 2025 but in September, the Men in Blue will head to United Arab Emirates to play in the Asia Cup 2025. Being the top continental tournament, the games will be held on September 9-28 on the territory of two UAE venues. Within the first and the second two weeks of October, India will host the West Indies in a two Test series games.
After the second Test against England in Delhi completed on October 10 and 14, the Indian team will move to Australia where it will play another three-match series in ODIs and five-match series in T20Is. The initial ODI will be played in Perth on October 19 at Optus stadium and the following two will be in Adelaide and Sydney on October 23 and 25 respectively.
