The T-Series, Balaji Telefilms, and Thinkink Picturez film has Mallika Sherawat, Vijay Raaz, Tiku Talsania and Archana Puran Singh in important roles along with the lead actors.

The drop in numbers over the last 5 days has slowed down the film’s run at the box office. But it still leads Alia Bhatt’s ‘Jigra’ since day one. On its opening day, ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ collected ₹5.5 crore net and on the next day it grew to ₹6.9 crore.
On its first Sunday, though the net was higher than the opening day at ₹6.4 crore, it dropped by ₹0.5 crore. So the Rajkummar Rao-Triptii Dimri film collected ₹13.3 crore net in its first weekend.
The film was in trouble as it used characters and dialogues from Maddock Films’ franchise ‘Stree’ without permission. To sort this out, director Raaj Shaandilyaa posted an unconditional apology on X.
“I Raaj Shaandilyaa the director of the film “Vicky Vidya ka Woh Wala Video” on behalf of myself and on behalf of Super Cassettes Ind. Pvt.
