Veera Dheera Sooran 2 Release Date: Chiyaan Vikram starrer movie Veera Dheera Sooran is scheduled to hit the big screens on March 27, 2025. The official release date was announced by the makers through their official social media handles.

Unveiling the official release date of the movie, Chiyaan Vikram took to his social media handle and said, “Our deadly #Kaali is all set to meet you in Theatres From 27th March 2025! Mark the date and get ready to witness. Chiyaan Vikram's epic action thriller #VeeraDheeraSooran. An #SUArunkumar Picture. A GV Prakash musical.”

The action-thriller flick Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 is one of the planned duology films featuring Chiyaan Vikram. Set against a village backdrop, the story develops around a provision store owner named Kaali.

Kaali leads a fairly simple life with his wife but inevitably encounters an ever-dangerous crime network, which leads to the unravelling of many mysteries. The rest of the movie basically deals with what happened afterward and how things will finish.

The film has a prequel scheduled but is set to go into production anytime soon. Initially, the film was expected to hit the screens on January 30, 2025, but later it was pushed to March 2025.

Directed by Chithha fame SU Arun Kumar, the film sees an ensemble cast with ST Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu (in his Tamil debut), Dushara Vijayan, Siddique, and many more in prominent roles.

Meanwhile, Chiyaan Vikram recently appeared in the lead role in Thangalaan, directed by Pa Ranjith. This one is an action-adventure film set during the British Raj era, depicting the story of a tribal leader's quest to stop the apparent sorceress; the reason behind this conflict being that he has incurred her wrath after assisting a British general in tracing gold in their village.

Set to feature an ensemble cast with Daniel Caltagirone, Pasupathy, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Malavika Mohanan and many others in pivotal roles. While Thangalaan was appreciated for its performances, it was also criticized for historical inaccuracy, visual effects, and writing.
