Vadodara Car Crash Accused Limps, Holds Ears During Crime Scene Recreation | Watch Video
In a video clip released by news agency ANI, the 20-year-old can be seen limping uncomfortably and clutching his ears as he was escorted by police.

Vadodara Car Crash: On the crime scene recreation of the deadly car accident that left one woman dead in Vadodara, the prime accused, Rakshit Ravish Chaurasia, was seen limping and holding his ears.
At the crime scene, being shown in a video footage by the ANI, the 23-year-old was seen limping with discomfort while clutching his ears and being men escorted by the police.
Police said Chaurasia was involved in a car crash in the early hours of March 14, where a speeding four-wheeler driven by him rammed a two-wheeler. The crash resulted in the death of one woman while eight others sustained injuries in the accident.
While Rakshit Ravish Chaurasia has been placed under police custody, Vadodara Police Commissioner, Narasimha Komar, informed that there are three-plus vehicles involved in the incident, including two active vehicles and one EV (Electric Vehicle).
Police invoke charges against Rakshit Chaurasia
The police of Gujarat has registered charges against the guilty under the Motor Vehicle Acts, while the forensic team is detecting the evidence for the investigation.
"We have registered a case of culpable homicide not amounting to murder apart from sections under the Motor Vehicle Acts. Police and Forensic teams have compiled the physical and material evidence," the police said.

"When he (the accused) was driving the car, there was one more person, Pranshu Chauhan, in his car. Were they under the influence of alcohol or any intoxicants - for this, we have taken their blood samples. Police are doing all the investigative exercise. We will prosecute the accused with all the physical, scientific and forensic evidence. Eight people were injured, one woman passed away, and seven are being treated," he added.
Komar further shared that the police are in the process of retrieving evidence from the crime scene as well as tracking the movements of the accused's co-passenger.
Accused claims he wasn't drunk at the time of the accident
While a case of drinking and driving is registered against Rakshit Ravish Chaurasia, he claimed he was not drunk the night of the accident.
The accused said he went to celebrate Holika Dahan and did not go partying afterward. Chaurasia stated he was not drunk but was driving at 50 km/h and wants to meet the victim's family and said he was responsible for the accident.
