Nadaaniyan Criticism: Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor are being trolled for their acting in the movie Nadaaniyan. It is Ibrahim's first film and Khushi's third. Well, on Saturday, Sonu Sood took to X to share a post in which he has asked people to be kind to newcomers in Bollywood. He wrote, "Be kind to debutants in the film fraternity."
He emphasized that the success or failure of a performance isn’t just on the debutants but a shared responsibility among everyone involved in the project.
The Sonu Sood actor wrote, "Be kind to debutants in the film fraternity and elsewhere. Nobody was perfect when they started. We all learn with experience. Only a handful get a second chance. A good or bad performance in any vertical is the collective responsibility of every technician involved. We are all learners. Let’s support and encourage them. Spread love."

Nadaaniyan, which marks the acting debut of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s son Ibrahim, opened to mixed reviews. The film’s dialogues, penned by Ishita Moitra (Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Call Me Bae), have drawn particular criticism from social media users. Moitra co-wrote the script with Jehan Handa, known for his work on Showtime.
Directed by Shauna Gautam and produced under Karan Johar’s banner, Nadaaniyan features an ensemble cast, including Khushi Kapoor, Jugal Hansraj, Dia Mirza, Suniel Shetty, and Mahima Chaudhary. The story follows Pia, a wealthy young woman, who convinces Arjun, a driven newcomer, to pretend to be her boyfriend after a falling-out with her friends. The film is currently streaming on Netflix.
Netizens have agree with Sonu has written. An X user wrote, "Absolutely your message is very sweet and full of wisdom. It’s true that everyone learns something in the beginning, and whether it’s films or any other field, we should be gentle with newcomers. Experience is the greatest teacher, and whether a task turns out good or bad, it involves everyone’s effort. We should encourage new people so they can move forward this not only helps them but also creates a positive environment. Love and support can change a lot , thank you for this beautiful thought."
