The Uttar Pradesh Police has tweeted a poster from the Aamir Khan-starrer super hit movie Ghajini.
The poster shows Aamir Khan’s Ghajini look with a lot of messages scribbled around his body. These remind the appropriate behaviour to check the spread of Sars-Cov-2 infection.
Washing hands and sanitiser to keep hand hygiene, wearing a mask to stop the virus from entering the nose and mouth, and maintaining a six feet distance from each other are effective weapons against Covid-19.
All the state governments and the Centre has been emphasizing the need to adopt these measures and they are using various means to popularise it.
The UP Police in a creative exercise has used the blockbuster movie Ghajini’s poster hoping that it will strike a chord with a large number of people in the country.
In Ghajini, Aamir Khan plays the character of a business tycoon who suffers from acute short-term memory loss.
To overcome his inability to memorise things for a longer duration, he scribbles things around his body to remind himself of important things that he has to do.
The UP Police novel initiative is quite crucial at a time when Covid-19 cases are decreasing it India because this tends people to be careless and lower their guards.
Experts say that any laxity at this point of time will provide an ideal opportunity for the virus to spread its tentacles once again.
“It is very important to maintain an important Covid-19 behaviour and strictly follow the basic principles such as hand hygiene and adequate distancing. You never know when we will get a new wave once again,” a senior government epidemiologist told the National Bulletin.
