On Monday Last week, the post-graduate trainee doctor colleagues at the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital asked why West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee put up a seven-day deadline for investigating the murder and rape of the postgraduate trainee doctor. The protesters also noted that they would keep protesting until their demands are made.
The West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee earlier said that her administration will transfer the rape case to CBI if the Kolkata police are unable to solve the case within a week.
