On Monday Last week, the post-graduate trainee doctor colleagues at the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital asked why West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee put up a seven-day deadline for investigating the murder and rape of the postgraduate trainee doctor. The protesters also noted that they would keep protesting until their demands are made.

The West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee earlier said that her administration will transfer the rape case to CBI if the Kolkata police are unable to solve the case within a week.

Mamata Banerjee guaranteed a transparent investigation but the protesters were upset and criticized Mamata for the delay, and demanded a judicial investigation, the death penalty for the killer, and compensation to the victim's family.

The whole country is furious over the rape case and independence day gave oil to the fire, that it has been 78 years of the country's freedom, and yet women are not safe.

every year a case catches our attention we protest we march we ask for a revolution and then we forget the keyboards and ask for justice the celebrities and the common man get reminded that women are being raped and then we go to hibernation until something wakes us up again.

Then we go to hibernation until something wakes us up again. And yes it's logical you can't ask for justice 365 days a year somedays you too should have some time to check out a beautiful, girl who breaks traffic, and rules and uses the same social media to objectify a minor.

But people are angry at the government of Mata Banerjee for covering up the incident and the internet outrage is real. And Twinkle Khanna is “Fifty years on this planet, in this country, and I am teaching my daughter the same things I was taught as a child.”

“Don’t go alone–to the park, to school, to the beach. Don’t go alone with any man, even if it’s your uncle, cousin, or friend. Don’t go alone in the morning, the evening, and especially not at night”, read her note further. It then read, “Don’t go alone because it’s not a matter of if, but when. Don’t go alone because you may never come back.”
