Matrimony

The online matchmaking services reported that at the board meeting on September 5th, they will decide and get the approval to buy back fully paid up equity shares of the company.

Medi Assist

The insurance provider company reported that Bessemer India has brought shares through a block deal in the company. Sources said that the worth of the block deal is Rs 540.94 crore and shares are issued at a starting price of Rs 570 per share.

The price is issued at a 7.7% discount compared to Medi Assit’s recent closing price.

Vedanta

Vedanta reported that the company will declare its third interim payment of Rs 20 per share at the end of its board meeting on Monday.

Earlier this year, the company had already announced two interim payments of ₹11 and ₹4 per share.

Welspun Corp

The company reported that it has received approval from the board to invest $100 million to improve its wholly-owned subsidiary, Welspun Pipes Inc in the United States' high-frequency induction welding (HFIW) pipe construction and coating skills.

Maruti Suzuki India

The car manufacturer reported an increase of 2.2% year-on-year to 1.69 lakh units in production for August 2024 against 1.65 lakh units in August 2023.

The company reported that its sales went down by 3.9% YoY in August 2024.

NMDC

The company announced its preliminary sales and production numbers for August 2024. The numbers recorded a decline compared to the same period last year.

Iron ore production went down by 10% to 3.07 million tonnes (MT) in August 2024 against 3.41 MT in August 2023.

Adani Green

The renewable energy company reported it has got approval from the board for the execution of binding papers, which includes a joint venture agreement, with Adani Renewable Energy Sixty Four Limited (ARE64L) and TotalEnergies Renewables Singapore Pte Limited (TotalEnergies).

RITES

RITES reported that it got an order from the Office of the Assistant Commissioner of State Tax (SGST) in Ahmedabad, Gujarat which includes a tax claim of Rs 38.3 crore.
