Gold and Silver Rates Today On August 29: The gold rate for 22-carat today has increased by Rs 230 in the last 24 hours while the 24-carat gold rate today went up by Rs 240 compared to last day’s gold price.

Gold and Silver Rates Today On August 29: After a decrease in gold price the previous day, the gold rate today has increased significantly.
On Thursday, August 29, the 22-carat rate today in India costs Rs 67,160 per 10 grams while the 24-carat gold price today stands at Rs 73,260 per 10 grams.
The gold rate for 22-carat today has increased by Rs 230 in the last 24 hours while the 24-carat gold rate today went up by Rs 240 compared to last day’s gold price.
Yesterday, the gold rate for 22-carat was priced at Rs 66,930 per 10 grams and the 24-carat gold price was valued at Rs 73,020 per 10 grams.
Meanwhile, the gold rate for 22-carat per gram has also increased and stands at Rs 6,721 meanwhile the 24-carat gold price stands at Rs 7,341 per gram.
The silver price on August 29 in India stands at Rs 88,500, the silver price has reduced by Rs 100 in the last 24 hours.
The gold contracts in the MCX, maturing on September 2024 were up by 0.27% and were trading at Rs 71,935 per 10 gm while the silver futures were up by 0.52% and were trading at 84,410 per kg.

The last massive gold and silver price fluctuation was recorded after the announcement of the Union Budget 2024 on 23rd July which reduced the excise duty tax imposed on gold and silver from 15% to 6%.
This announcement from the Finance Minister led to a massive decline of Rs 4000 in gold and silver rates on the next day.
