Internet wishes a heartfelt Vistara a farewell on last day
Thank you for the memories: The social media users said goodbye to Vistara as the full-service airline completed its last set of flights on Monday as it merges with Air India.
As Vistara trended on X, many shared memories and narrated their experience with the airline in tears-prone posts.
They even added the hashtag "to limited possibilities" as a statement to confirm their future now is Air India.

The airline said that from 12 November 2024, customers will lose the ability to make bookings with Vistara, step by step, for travel dates on and after 12 November 2024.
Vistara's CEO Vinod Kannan says the merger will expand its fleet and its network offerings, giving customers more choices and an unparalleled travel experience.
The series of emotional messages also flooded as passengers thanked the carrier service for the memories and wished that the new version would be as good.
"The crew of one of the last flights Vistara Airlines will operate today, played "Kal ho na ho" after the plane landed and wished all passengers a safe journey home, sending off the crew serving on the last flight," posted one passenger.
It brings two giants of Indian aviation under one umbrella, an astute decision taken by the Tata Group, which shifts the landscape as Air India moves forward to become India's only full-service carrier.
Started as a joint venture between the Tata Group and Singapore Airlines, Vistara would be a part of the consolidated Air India entity wherein Singapore Airlines would retain a 25.1% stake.
A passenger, who boarded a Vistara flight today, was rather overwhelmed as he said: “Capturing the moment as I'm on a Vistara flight today. Tomorrow they will fly as Air India. Happy to be able to fly today. A great brand built over 10 years.”
One of the users shared a video that he recorded while flying Vistara recently, and said: “Thanks for a wonderful flying experience every time @airvistara. Truly gonna miss you!”
Describing the airline as “truly a gem in the skies,” another user said: “Farewell @airvistara! Your unmatched service, delicious meals, and warm crew made every flight unforgettable. Thank you for the memories! You'll be missed.”
