Sugandha Mishra Opens Up About Leaving Her Baby for Jamnagar Performance: Despite stage fright, Sugandha Mishra embraced the experience after becoming a mother last year, performing at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding in Jamnagar.

Sugandha shared on a podcast of Rubina Dilaik that she originally didn't want to leave her baby girl behind and wanted her husband to perform solo.

“So I was told that there is a show in Jamnagar. The big fat pre wedding. So we got a call for that. Now I told him (Sanket) to talk to them and go alone. I told him that I don't want to go. The baby should have at least one parent. She is still very young. He said, ‘It's okay. Just calm down." She said

"You have given her 3 months completely. There will be nothing wrong in going for a day. Just calm down. Relax.’ And he forced me to go. And when I went on stage for the first time. I mean first time after being a mom."

"I went on stage, I saw my people, my audience. That was euphoric. I held the mic in my hand and I was so nervous that I thought I won't be able to do it. There was so much of gap and I thought if I will be able to do it on stage, if I will have that confidence. That moment was a bit shaky. Then slowly I got rid of the stage fright.”

As she also stated on stepping out post-motherhood, "Life changes completely. In my mind, I thought I would manage the baby. But everything is going to be the same.

In December last year, Sugandha and Sanket became parents. "Baby will also along in the show. Baby will also along in the shoot."
