Aavesham Review: Fahadh Faasil Shines in Jithu Madhavan Film

Aavesham Review: The director of 'Romancham' Jithu Madhavan returns with 'Aavesham' after the success of 'Romancham'. And this time, he teamed up with the one and only Fahadh Faasil. 'Aavesham' piqued everyone's curiosity. Fahadh Faasil in a towel, dancing, set the stage for a fun pre-release teaser that kept the expectations high.

About Aavesham

Aavesham is a Bengaluru-set film about three college students who get bullied and ragged by seniors at a college.

How Ranga's involvement in their lives brings a change forms the story. The college students seek revenge by partnering with a local goon Ranga (Fahadh Faasil).

It deals with a simple storyline and that's where its beauty lies - Jithu Madhavan's 'Aavesham' is a madcap entertainer with stellar performances.

Ranga's unique character traits are highlighted in the film. It is the comedy that works to a major extent for the film.

As for the second half, Jithu Madhavan redeems himself with the climax, which concentrates on character arcs and keeps the audience interested.

Cast

In 'Aavesham', Ranga is accompanied by Sanjin Gopu's character, Amban, whose one-liners contribute significantly to the comedy. Hipster, Roshan Shanavas, and Mithun Jai Sankar also shine in their roles.

In addition to Fahadh Faasil's performance, composer Sushin Shyam's music enhances the wild ride, as do cinematographer Sameer Thahir and editor Vivek Harshan.

There is a reason why Fahadh 're-introduces' himself as Ranga in the title credits of 'Aavesham'. Fahadh Faasil, as Ranga, has portrayed the dynamic character wonderfully.

It's easy to think of him as a ruffian with a comedic sense, but he has a lot of antics and 'eda mone', which makes him a pretty entertaining character.
