Ankita Lokhande's Audition Revelation For Deepika Padukone role & Vibrant Dance with Vicky Jain in New Music Video Promotion

In an interview with Sandip Singh, who announced his collaboration with Ankita Lokhande for the web series Amrapali, the filmmaker revealed an interesting anecdote about Ankita auditioning for Deepika Padukone's Leela in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Ram Leela... Ram Leela with Ranveer Singh.

Ankita's audition was not a failure, contrary to popular belief.

He clarified to India Today, “It is not like she did not crack the audition of Ram Leela. She did crack it. However, after Mr Bhansali had delivered Black, Sawaariya and Guzaarish, he wanted a star.

Despite the budget being too high at that time, Ankita performed well at the audition." Ankita also expressed gratitude for the opportunity to audition for such a prestigious production.

She said, “I feel very fortunate that I could at least audition for such films. I look up to Sanjay Leela Bhansali; I will forever want to work with him. When you are in front of him, and he is looking at you, you know that at least you are reaching somewhere near your goal.”

Also, the recently released music album Laa Pila De Sharaab by Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain has also won hearts. While fans have been raving about the song and its chemistry, Ankita and Vicky were seen dancing to their song today in a stylish avatar in the city.
