Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh 3rd ODI Decider: Bangladesh (BAN) and Sri Lanka (SL) will be playing the last game of the 3rd ODI series, as the two teams are now tied in their scores 1-1. In the first ODI, the hosts won with a comfortable margin of 77 runs, which was made possible by the century of Charith Asalanka and four wickets of Wanindu Hasaranga.
But Bangladesh erupted back in the second ODI and defeated the Lankan Lions by 16 runs with a five-wicket bowling performance by Tanvir Islam, who was a major reason behind the restricting of the run chase by the Lankan Lions.

The third match of the series will be the series decider on July 8 at Pallekele and both the sides are keen to win the series. Faced with the prospect of getting the 50-over leg of the multi-format tour out of the way, both of the teams would be hoping that it is they who will get the winning end of the game by the time the action shifts to the shortest format of the game.
The Pallekele International stadium has a balanced pitch, which is both batters and bowlers friendly. The fast bowlers may dominate earlier in the game as the pitch facilitates the ability of the bowlers to take advantage of the swings and seam movements when the ball is new and the field is relatively hard later into the game. Batter friendly conditions though are conjectured to apply as the ball gets old with batters being allowed to score more easily.
