Sreeleela to Star Opposite Kartik Aaryan in Anurag Basu’s Romantic Film? Details Inside

Kissik Actress Sreeleela will be featuring alongside Kartik Aaryan in what was initially expected to be Aashiqui 3. Although nothing has been announced yet, India Today has exclusively learned that Anurag Basu, the director, has finally found his main female actor to be Sreeleela.

A source close to the production told us that it was brought to her, and she is over the moon to have bagged her second Bollywood film. The project was buzzing recently after Triptii Dimri exited, citing reasons best known to the film's team.

The source also stated that Sreeleela could not wait to kickstart this new romantic inning of her career while the team was figuring out a way for making a grand announcement soon.

At 23, she has moved with the sheen of fresh face in the industry, and footage of her in a dance number from Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 surfaced a lot of popularity for her countrywide. The actor is anyway foraying into the industry opposite Ibrahim Ali Khan for a Maddock Films production. The two were actually spotted quite early this year in Mumbai while reading the script of the film.

Meanwhile, his latest interview made with the media, Basu informed that he is starting the film shooting in March. He also mentioned in the same interview that the team would lock the female lead within a week's time.
