UK Government Targets Indian Restaurants in Major Immigration Crackdown: Inspired by the stringent immigration crackdown by President Donald Trump, the latest Labour government in the United Kingdon has begun a series of mass raids across the country in search for illegal immigrants working there.
Staging what it termed a "UK-wide blitz", the crackdown on Indian restaurants, nail bars, convenience shops, and car washes extends to all businesses that employ migrant workers.

Under the direct supervision of British Home Secretary Yvette Cooper, the Home Office has termed January as record-breaking, with the visitation of 828 properties, a 48 percent increase from the previous January, and 609 arrests, a 73 percent increase from last year's figure.
She further added that not only does this form a dangerous lure for people to risk their lives crossing the Channel in a small boat, but also victimizes vulnerable people and our immigration system and economy.
With Reform UK's rapid gain in the polls, Prime Minister Keir Starmer is under pressure to show how tough his government will be on illegal immigration. It is pouring millions into bespoke charter flights, whereby so-called "immigration offenders" are flown to various countries around the world, including four of the largest single migrant return flights in Britain's history, with over 800 people.

In addition to that, for the first time, the government released a video showing the deportation of migrants. The recent immigration crackdown has recorded a deportation of nearly 19,000 foreign criminals and illegal immigrants since Labour took office.
In the images, hands are shackled as the man is brought out by several Border Force officials.
According to Home Office figures, illegal employment raids and arrests increased by almost 38 percent from July 5 last year to January 31 this year, compared with the same period the previous year. And, during this duration, 1,090 civil penalty notices were served, while employers can be fined up to GBP 60,000 per illegal worker.
