Sonakshi Sinha Will Not Convert to Islam After Wedding: As Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal's marriage date has come, there have been rumors that Sonakshi Sinha will turn Muslim after marriage

However, during an Interview with Free Press Journal, Zaheer's father Iqbal Ratansi said, “It will have neither Hindu or Muslim rituals. It will be a civil marriage.”

He further said, “She is not converting and that is for sure. Theirs is a union of hearts and religion has no role to play whatsoever.”

He also said that the marriage between the Special Marriage Act, of 1954 which states that the couple is required to give one-month notice to the marriage registrar.

He also announced that the wedding which is set today June 23, will place at his registrar on Carter Road.

Zaheer's father Iqbal Ratansi also speaks about the rumors of Sonakshi Sinha converting to Muslim, he said, “She is not converting and that is for sure. Theirs is a union of hearts and religion has no role to play whatsoever.”

He further said, “I believe in humanity. God is called Bhagwan by Hindus and Allah by Muslims. But at the end of the day, we are all human beings. My blessings are with Zaheer and Sonakshi.”

Earlier, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal's marriage was leaked which contained an an audio QR code from Sonakshi and Zaheer.

The audio OR of Sonakshi and Zaheer, “We're making it official (finally)! The rumours were true. Sonakshi said, “The moment where go from being each other’s rumoured girlfriend and boyfriend,” before Zaheer said, “To being each other’s definite and official husband and wife. Finally! This celebration will not be complete without you so drop whatever you’re doing on the 23rd of June and come party with us. See you there.”

It audio further said, “Dress code: formal and festive, just don't wear red.”
