Shahid Kapoor Shares: Deva, Shahid Kapoor's freshly out movie, has received love and appreciation from fans. In no time, twitteratis called him handsome. Today, he treated his fans with another dose of sunkissed photos that went viral.

On his Instagram account, Shahid shared photos and wished everyone a Happy Sunday. In the pictures, Shahid Kapoor was seen posing for the camera. One of the fans wrote, “We failed as an audience to witness such masterpiece." Another wrote, “Handsome Kapoor." Many dropped hearts emojis.

Mr. Sacnilk has reported that the film had a decent first Saturday at the box office, with somewhere around Rs 11.37 crore being collected.

As per the same source, Rs 5.5 crore was made on the opening day, while Friday earned Rs 5.87 crore, summing up to Rs 11.37 crore. Occupancy was recorded to be 5.84% for the morning shows, 11.28% for the afternoon shows, and 14.20% during evening shows on Saturday.

With the release of Sky Force, the competition is stiff, and Deva's fate will be decided over the weekend. Producer Zee Studios said on Saturday that the action drama grossed Rs 10.31 crore on its opening day, which included a collection of Rs 6.82 crore from India and Rs 3.49 crore from overseas markets. The trade website, however, had reported Rs 6.60 crore for India while going on to say the worldwide gross was Rs 10.10 crore.

The story of Deva unfolds with ACP Dev Ambre (Shahid Kapoor), a reckless cop and womanizer, who suffers amnesia while investigating the murder of his best friend. This film has taken a cue from Rosshan's Mumbai Police, a 2013 Malayalam film featuring Prithviraj Sukumaran, although it is said that the script was modified, having especially changed the climax twist. Pooja Hegde stars as Dev's girlfriend Divya Sathaye, a journalist.

News18 Showsha gave the film 3.5 stars. An excerpt from the review read, “Deva finds its voice in its second half, evolving from a standard action thriller into a gripping, character-driven mystery. It may not be without its flaws, but its unpredictability, strong performances, and polished execution make it a compelling watch. If you’re willing to ride out the familiar beats of the first half, the latter rewards you with intrigue, intensity, and a noir-infused take on the Bollywood action genre."
