Salman Khan Surpasses Allu Arjun and Shah Rukh Khan: The teaser of Salman Khan's much awaited film called Sikandar was finally released on December 28. The 1 minute 42 second-long video is meant to set a high-octane action tone with Salman Khan in the spotlight.

The teaser indeed has fans swooning, but it had its share of complaints with many comparing it to a commercial advertisement instead of a teaser for a full-fledged movie.

There were also comments about Salman Khan's performance and a lethargic body language which downplayed the energy of the teaser.

Several netizens said nothing about the actual scenes in the film, and one commented, "It felt more of an ad shoot rather than a movie teaser. What was this? DISAPPOINTED!!!" Others said the slow-motion was excessive in the teaser.

But it is not that the feedback has all been bad. Background music from Santhosh Narayanan for the teaser has been raved about, along with the color grading completed by SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment.It is quite a catch for the teaser with audiences as there has been quite a fair mixture of different reactions thrown from here and there.

Despite all this hubbub, the YouTube performance of the teaser is impressive; within the first 24 hours, the teaser got close to 42 million views.

Thus, it became the fifth most viewed Indian teaser on YouTube, well ahead of Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 (39 million views) and SRK's Dunki (37 million views).

While there is a divided reception for the teaser itself, this heavy count-view alone indicates that intense excitement still remains for Salman Khan's comeback.

The movie is directed by A.R. Murugadoss, and rumors are that it's going to mark a successful comeback for the actor. The film stars up-and-coming actress Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead and is expected to be a hattrick blockbuster after Animal and Pushpa 2.
